Latvian SSR abandoned

SSR Forces this evening pulled out of Latvian SSR for reasons undisclosed.

The Government run news agency, SSRmedia,  made only one comment, "Mr. Celxor, noob".

SSR Countries set to 0% tax

The simcountry Socialist Republic Union has today announced that all countries within the SSR Union are to set Corporation taxes to 0% rated levels following its Economic plan to attract Enterprises and CEO's into its nations.

Estonian SSR and Latvian SSR both set rates to 0% this morning and will monitor CEO responses to the SSR economic planned project.

Finance Minster Joe Doe said "Our socialist environment should not be a barrier for prospective CEO's to take advantage of our educated and willing work force. As our Education budget takes effect we feel opportunities for Enterprising, forward thinking heads of corporations will see the stability we can provide as a work force."

After a blitzkrieg military annexing operation along its north-western boarder the Estonian Simcountry Socialist Republic Armed Forces, captured The Kingdom of Mosaraf after a brief and bloody combative action that saw little loses to the ESSR Forces, although hugh infrastructure, civilian and military causalities where reported around the Kingdoms population centers.

Soon after the lightening strike Mr.Celxor, the de faco leader of the SSR, announced the former Kingdom had requested Union with the SSR and that the local government officials had signed the Union agreement with its neighbour The Estonian Simcountry Socialist Republic effectively neutralising opposition as ESSR Military shows of force where witnessed around the countries capital, Riga.

International opinion, somewhat muted, has expressed no concern over the legality or annexing of the otherwise lawless state.

The former Kingdom was ceremoniously re-named The Latvian Simcountry Socialist Republic, LSSR, and joined the SSR Union Federation and common blue common market soon after.

In the last few hours SSR Special Forces and Long Range Attack Divisons crossed the boarder into the The Kingdom of Mosaraf in what is believed to be a hostile Annex operation by the SSR Union intent to securing its borders and extending Union membership.

Large swaves of Mosarafen land has been taken in a lighting strike by the SSR Expontionary Special Forces units backed by Air Force Attack Aircraft and Long Range Artillery and Tank units.

You can build a large army, wage war and create an empire. Peaceful presidents, concentrate on their economy, earn money and build their empires without war.

The Five Simcountry worlds in the Aquila The Eagle Constellation. Kebir Blue and Fearless blue are the fourth and sixth planets of Vega minor - RG174, 25.3 light years from earth. White Giant and Golden Rainbow are the second and fifth planets of Mauri Kappa - RK091, 25.2 light years from earth.

There are 5 worlds and using space ships, you can travel between them, move products and trade them, store weapon and ammunition on space stations and use them later if needed. Taking care of your empire requires a good strategy and sometimes decisive action. Fearless Blue is a War world where peaceful presidents are not welcome. There is less protection for your assets.
